Chess in Bromley, Beckenham & Orpington

The Bromley borough is the best-served corner of the KCCA map: three clubs on three different nights, so whichever evening you have free, there’s a game within a short drive.

Beckenham & Bromley Chess Club meets on Wednesday evenings from September to June in The Studio at The Parklangley Club. It has a wide range of playing ability, welcomes members who have never joined a chess club before, and runs a junior club with coaching included.

Psyon Chess in Chislehurst plays on Thursday evenings and fields teams in the county leagues.

Petts Wood & Orpington Chess Club rounds out the week on Friday evenings at St John’s URC in Orpington — juniors from 6:30pm, adults from 7:30pm, mid-September to the end of June.
